Vaginitis bacterial is not diagnosed or treated with a colposcopy or cryotherapy.
The disease is not sexually transmitted and there is no way to prevent it except by following simple hygiene measures and avoiding multiple sexual contacts with unknown partners. Since chemicals can also lead to vagina inflammation, it is recommended to avoid using scented soaps and condoms.
