Vulvar Itch
A vulvar itch can be attributed to lichen sclerosus or other infections caused by HPV.
According to statistics, about 1 in 10 women see a doctor about persistent vulval itch at some period in their life. Among the major causes of the condition are sexually transmitted infections, various skin conditions, menopause, susceptibility of the vulval skin to soaps, deodorants, perfumes, etc.

Itchy vulva, or pruritus vulvae is a very uncomfortable condition for infected women. The vulva is the area of skin outside the vagina. Most women have a slight itchy sensation from time to time. However, this condition means the itch is persistent. A vulvar itch can be attributed to lichen sclerosus or other infections caused by HPV.
